Episode 1: Randy Helm
Randy was hired to develop and supervise the Wild Horse Inmate Program for Arizona State Prison.The program focused not only on training horses but training people and the parallels between the horse and the inmate. A true story of animals helping people heal.
Episode 2: Jake LaRue
Jake LaRue owns and operates a 30-acre horse farm in North Carolina with his wife Dari. Seven beautiful horses call it home. And a wonderful home it is for them and for the countless veterans, and those who suffer trauma, that visit all year round and receive life-changing equine therapy. Episode 3: Laughing Buck Farms
Rachel works at the Laughing Buck Farm – a community farm school and camps for kids that have disabilities. In 2018, Laughing Buck Farms founder, Rosemary, established a 501c3 non-profit public charity to develop and support educational and therapeutic horse and farm experiences for EVERYONE!
Episode 4: American Wild Horse Campaign
A lifelong horse lover, rider, enthusiast and protector, Grace sits as an ambassador for the American Wild Horse Campaign (AWHC). Spreading the word of the sad state of the American Wild Horse, Brandi believes that if she can educate at least one person, then we are one step closer to saving the fate of these beautiful creatures.
Episode 5: Elaina “Forensic Investigator”
Lifelong animal advocate, Elaina Proffitt, is an internationally recognized intuitive Spiritual counselor, life coach and Law Enforcement consultant. She is frequently sought out for her accuracy as a clairvoyant, clairaudient, and medium. After her own near-death experience, Elaina also became a spiritual grief and loss counselor for families of violent loss, assisting in restoring balance and peace to ease those who suffer from PTSD.
Episode 6: Grit Program
Landa Keirstead, is the founder of the One Step Closer Therapeutic Riding program and the Guided Resilience Intentional Trust (G.R.I.T.) Woman’s Group, a new program for women designed to develop self-awareness and self-acceptance, confidence and resilience, and safe boundaries – promoting healing that focuses on the centuries old bond between horse and human.
Episode 7: Rachel Heehaw Halfway House Donkey Rescue
Rachel Ann is a true hero and lover of all animals, but donkeys are her focus. She’s written the book (three, actually) on how to rescue and train them, and specializes in donkeys with behavioral issues. Rachel has been training donkeys since 2010 and rescuing donkeys since 2013. In 2021, she started Hee-haw Halfway House Donkey Rescue privately, and is working on creating a 501C3. She has a B.S. in Equine Science from CSU. She graduated with Honors with her thesis on Easily Unrecognizable Equine Facial Expressions.
